These General Terms and Conditions govern the rental of bungalows offered by Gîtes Blue Karaïb in Sainte-Anne (Guadeloupe), via the gitesbluekaraib.com website.
Reservation
The reservation can be made:

The reservation is final only after written confirmation from us and, if applicable, receipt of a deposit or deposit according to the conditions specified during the exchanges.
Prix
Rental rates are indicated in euros and include all taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Prices include the rental of the bungalow and access to the indicated facilities.
Any additional costs (cleaning, tourist tax, options) are specified at the time of booking.
Payment
The terms of payment (amount of the deposit, balance, deadlines) are specified at the time of the booking confirmation.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the reservation.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation by the tenant, the following conditions may apply (to be adapted according to your actual policy):
– cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: partial or total refund of the deposit according to the agreed conditions
– cancellation less than 15 days before arrival: the deposit can be kept in whole or in part
In the event of cancellation by Gîtes Blue Karaïb (exceptional case: force majeure, inability to honour the rental), the tenant will be informed as soon as possible and the sums paid will be refunded.
Use of the property
The lessee undertakes to:
– respect the place and the neighbourhood
– use the bungalow in accordance with its destination (tourist stay)
– do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for the accommodation
– report any damage or malfunction
The pool is common to the 5 bungalows of the Gîtes Blue Karaïb estate.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in and check-out times are indicated at the time of booking confirmation.
Any significant delays should be reported.
Liability
Gîtes Blue Karaïb cannot be held responsible for:
– loss, theft or damage to tenants' personal effects
– cuts in water, electricity or services beyond its control
The tenant is liable for damage caused by him and may be required to reimburse the costs of restoration.
Animals
The reception of pets is subject to prior agreement and is specified at the time of booking.
Applicable law and legal dispute
These terms and conditions are subject to French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing this, the competent courts are those of Pointe-Ă -Pitre.
